    Job details
  • Respiratory care for patients on medical floors, adult critical care and the emergency room, consisting of breathing treatments, secretion mobilization, non-invasive and invasive ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, intubation assistance, drawing and analyzing blood gases, obtaining EKGs.
  • Equipment utilized in the unit: Ventilators – Avea, Puritan Bennett 840, 3100 B HFOV, VentiPac transport ventilator; Non-invasive ventilators – V60 and Vision; IPV; Capnostream 20 ETCO2; OmniCell medication dispenser; EPIC EMR.
  • Will work for Respiratory Therapy throughout the hospital.
    Job requirements
  • RRT required, no CRT.
  • OR state licensure required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience.
    Schedule information
  • 12 hour night shift 1830-0700 with weekends.
  • Will not work alone, generally 8 staff on shift.
  • Call not expected.
    Unit specific information
  • One precepted shift to understand patient-driven protocols, patient care expectations, charting, locations of nursing units and supplies.
    Additional Details
