- Position/Specialty: CT Tech
- The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician.
Job details
- Years of experience REQ: 1 year
- National Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), as well as Computed Tomography and South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
- Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start
Job requirements
- Shift: Friday-Sunday 6p-6:30a
- Is on-call REQ? Yes – call is every 3rd week M-Thu 5p-6a
- Will this traveler float between service lines? No
- Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
Schedule information
- Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers.
Unit specific information
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed.
- Local Radius: 60 miles
- Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- Special Requirements: Required skills include starting IV, Contrast, Biopsies, PACS system.
