General Information: Beds: 11, Experience? 3 years, First-time traveler? Upon Review
Patient Types: This is a lower acuity ICU, General ICU, Stroke, COVID, Medical, Surgical, Behavioral Health, Overdoses
Covid & PPE: Conventional PPE provided
Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 (Days & Nights) – acuity based
Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis
Orientation: One shift to learn flow

Job requirements

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Skills required: Read/interpret strips, Vents, Chest Tubes, Traches, Line management, proning experience

Schedule information

Weekend rotation: every third (default)
Can we approve time off? Up to 7 days (default)
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Varies, based on unit needs (default)
Holiday Expectations: Varies, based on unit need (default)

Unit specific information

Must be comfortable with rotation to the Cardiac-Medsurg (5:1 patient to RN ratio overnight)
Support on the Unit: CNA (Ratio 1:7), Shared HUC in the ICU with Cardiac Med-surg, Charge nurse: Will take modified patient assignment, Phlebotomy? Available for peripheral blood draws, IV/VAT Team (Mon/Wed/Fri), Intensivist 06-1800 7 days a week, EICU 24 hrs/day (support when intensivist is not on site in off hours), RT, 24/7, Hospitalist, 24/7, ICU Educator, OT, PT, ST - weekdays
