Description
- Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
- BLS & ACLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
- Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.
- Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
- Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient's level of complexity.
- 36 hrs/wk, Day/Evening, 12 hr shift, Monday- Friday variation of 6:30am-7pm with possible 9:40am-10pm every three weeks.
- Weekend and weekday call rotation every 5th week. Weekend call is Friday-Monday starting at 3pm on Friday.
- On-Call Requirement: Call response time is 45 minutes: 45 minutes from phone call to be dressed in scrubs and reporting to the charge nurse.
- Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
- Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
- Experience: Must have experience Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area (3 or above).
- Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
