Job details

Position / Specialty: Nursery RN ***12 Weeks***
The Nursery RN will be expected to catch and transition babies in L&D within the 1st 2-3 hours of life. Will also be expected to float to Mom-Baby where they could take a newborn assignment. (Mom-Baby/Couplet Care preferred)

Job requirements

2+ years - Experience with routine newborn care
Ability to attend deliveries and resuscitate infants at delivery
Ability to transition infants after delivery
Experience Required: Level 2 Nursery
Experience Preferred: Mother-Baby

Schedule information

Shift: Will accept 3x12s or 4x12s-6:45p-7:15a
Holiday rotation
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend as needed
On-call REQ: Yes, 2 on-call shifts every 6 weeks for those working 3x12s
Floating is required to sister units

Unit specific information

Floats to Mom-Baby as needed
Expected to work in nursery and partake in couplet care

Additional Details

Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request
Local Radius: 60 miles
Locals Accepted: Yes, locals will be considered at 10% less than the posted rate
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
