- Rehabilitation Therapy position available at Modoc Medical Center in Alturas, California. The role involves evaluations, follow-up appointments, and a total of 8-9 patients per day. The candidate will provide physical therapy under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy, following the facility's guidelines and policies.
Job details
- Graduate of an APTA approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
- Licensed by the State of California to provide PTA services.
- Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, and out-patient physical therapy is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing physical therapy procedures and modalities.
- Interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team player and able to work with various departments.
Job requirements
- Monday through Friday with no weekends.
Schedule information
- Provides treatment as directed by the primary Physical Therapist.
- Observes, evaluates, and documents the effects of treatments.
- Maintains an organized patient record.
- Demonstrates safe and effective use of all modalities and procedures utilized in the clinic.
