    Job details
  • The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Units include 3 East is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents, and tailoring care to meet their needs. The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services. 3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit providing care in a home-like environment.
    Job requirements
  • Associates in Nursing required.
  • Need valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
  • 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
  • Medical terminology preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
  • The ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
  • Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.
  • Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
    Unit specific information
  • 3 East specializes in Alzheimer's/dementia care.
  • The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit focuses on short-term rehab services.
  • 3 West provides long-term care in a home-like environment.
    Additional Details
  • Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
  • Orientation up to 16 hours may be unpaid.
  • St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
  • Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
