Certification details

Certification in Nuclear Medicine required (CNMT or AART N).
Certification details by board: NMTCB, ARRT(N), ARRT(CT).
BLS certification.

Job details

PET/CT Technologist (Dual Certification)
Responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction, producing high-quality diagnostic images, effectively communicating with customers and radiologists, training new technologists or Patient Coordinators, troubleshooting equipment.
PET/CT Technologist (Non Dual Certification)
Similar responsibilities as the dual certification position with additional qualification and experience specifications.

Job requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
CPR certification required.
Must hold dual certifications as a Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography Technologist; specifically NMTCB or ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT), or hold NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) in lieu of ARRT(CT), if state allows, prior to August 20, 2016.
State license required as applicable.
A minimum of one year of PET and/or PET/CT and either X-ray or CT experience required, or previous experience in X-ray in lieu of Computed Tomography experience if hired prior to August 20, 2016.
Certification in Nuclear Medicine required; NMTCB or ARRT (RT-N) and state license, as applicable for Non-Dual Certification.
1-2 years of PET/PETCT imaging experience and adequate training in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies required.

Schedule information

Local travel may be required.

Additional Details

Preference for candidates able and willing to work at multiple locations in KY.
Does candidate require any time off during assignment? If so, information should be listed in the submission comments.
Is this candidate a 1099 contractor?
Minimum of 1-2 years PET/PETCT imaging experience required.
KY license must be obtained at time of submission if not already licensed.
