CPR certification required.
Certification in Nuclear Medicine required; NMTCB or ARRT (RT-N) and state license, as applicable.

Job details

PET/CT Technologist (Dual Certification) use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain the procedure and put them at ease.
With a caring attitude and keen attention to detail, they ensure patient comfort, safety and satisfaction every step of the way.
They show their technical competence by effectively interpreting physician orders/instructions and selecting appropriate software options and imaging parameters to produce the highest-quality PET/CT images/studies possible.

Job requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Must be dual certified as a Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography Technologist.
NMTCB or ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) in lieu of the ARRT(CT), if the state allows.
State license required as applicable.
A minimum of one year of PET and/or PET/CT and either X-ray or CT experience required.

Schedule information

Local travel may be required.

Additional Details

1-2 years PET/PETCT imaging experience.
