Preferred - cardiac drips: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine CNA: general med/surg experience Support on the Unit: Charge nurse, takes a patient assignment (3 pts-Day shift, 5 pts- Night shift) Unit secretary, 0 Hospitalist, 24/7 RT, 24/7 Centralized telemetry monitoring, with no tele tech Phlebotomy to assist with peripheral blood draws Charting System/Equipment: EPIC - preferred Alaris Pyxis GE monitors Floating: all other MedSurg areas ED Holding – 1:4 ratio Travelers 1st to float Holiday Expectations: every other Other notes or things you want us to check/verify? Scrub Color: Any - no camo/denim Must document pain level, before and after (1 hour for oral) giving pain medications - The pain score must also meet the pain score with nth medication order—i.e. if a patient has a score of 8, the RN cannot give the Tylenol that is ordered for mild 1-3. The RN must call for an order if the patient wants Tylenol for the score of 8. Parking: Free
