This 930-bed acute care hospital is eastern Kentucky's only level I trauma center and level IV NICU. Part of the University of Kentucky, the hospital is committed to the pillars of academic health care—research, education and clinical care. Known as the Horse Capital of the World, you will find horse farm tours, Kentucky Horse Park, and racing facilities. But beyond horses, you will also find bourbon tours and distilleries, farmer's markets, and bluegrass music venues.

Licenses/Certifications: CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support), State License-RN-Kentucky, ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support)
