Registered Respiratory Therapist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team! As an RRT, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with respiratory disorders or deficiencies. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, administer therapies, and monitor patient responses. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' respiratory conditions and perform diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans based on patient assessments
  • Administer respiratory therapies and treatments, such as oxygen therapy, bronchodilator administration, and chest physiotherapy
  • Monitor patients' responses to therapies and make adjustments as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Document patient care activities accurately and maintain patient records
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Active licensure in the state you are applying to
  • 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in the use of respiratory therapy equipment and technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
