Description

Increase in total joint replacements
Need Ortho experience
4 - 10's but open to 8's or less than 40 hours per week
Will have call rotation
Open to longer contracts

• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of patient care in the operating room (prepping, draping, positioning, moving etc.)
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of surgical procedures and provides necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining sterile fields.
• Shared responsibility with the registered professional nurse for correct counts of instruments, sponges, needles, and sharps.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of medications used during a surgical procedure and is responsible for accurate identification and labeling.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the handling of specimens.
• Assist the surgery team with room turn over and preparation for procedures.
• Knowledgeable and responsible for the use of correct implants/prostheses for each procedure.
• Participates in the surgical site and patient verification during the timeout procedure.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Ability to participate in current and future training programs in order to learn new functions necessary for the OR to provide new and improved services.

Great people

The staff are great in the ED! Still understaffed even with travelers and mandates for staff to work 16 hour shifts… Some of the nicest doctors working alongside some of the dumbest. Wayne should be ashamed of a few doctors employed in their ED.

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
