Provides peri-operative care of surgical patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.Assures physical environment is appropriately prepared before patient arrival.Assists RN with developing plan of care. Follows procedures to ensure patient and employee safety.  Type of Cases: Cases are GI, Gen, Ortho, Spine, GYN, Urology, Podiatry and C-sections primarily.  No robotic cases

A skills checklist completed within one year of
application for RN specialties is required.  All other professions
outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
Michigan license verification is required for nurses.
Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in
the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for
the manager's review.
Physical copies of certifications are only required in
the profile if listed above.
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for
contract hire within six months of employment.

Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
on bill rates over $40/hr
OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular
rates
Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial
extension. 
McLaren's local traveler policy is to reduce
the travel rate by 10%.  Anyone with a permanent address within a 35
mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
