1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
General Nursing, Trauma Response
2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
HealthLand EMR; OmniCell medication/pharmaceutical delivery
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
ADN minimum, BSN preferred; at least 2 years experience
4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
Oregon RN license; BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
12-hour shifts; various shifts, days/nights/weekends
6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
May be called upon to float to Med-Surg, OB, L&D upon demonstration of competency
7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
BMHD: 25-bed/16-capacity; ER: 3-bed; L&D: 2-bed; OB: 2-bed
8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
Acuity Measurement Tool to determine Nurse-to-Patient ratio
9. Dress Code:
scrubs (tasteful and in good condition)

General Orientation to Blue Mountain Hospital District - Mission, Vision and Values, Service Excellence & Service Recovery; Department - Specific Orientation including safety and technology

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
