PCU/MS/ED Hold-Float Pool
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit doesn't accept first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics
RATIO: 1:4-1/6
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
UNIT DESCRIPTION: This position will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital. Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1:4-1:6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member
Must have experience: Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLS
ENPC Preferred
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days , Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed No RTO 3/29-4/7; 7/4-7/7
WEEKENDS: Every Other
FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Labor Day
Thanksgiving/Black Friday
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
New Years Eve/New Years Day
COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Aya Offer information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements.
Locals Accepted - Same Rate

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
