Position Description: Unit Information: Cath Lab (746) Location: JFK MC Address: 5301 South Congress Avenue, Atlantis, FL 33462 Floor: 2nd Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds – 3 procedure rooms, 1 patient per room, 4 bed Holding, 12 bed recovery · Number of Staff – 22, consisting of RN and CV Techs · Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 7 CVT > 14 total per shift o Night Shift – On-call team, 2 nurses, 2 CVT call team · Patient Ratios (Estimated) – 1:1 · Type of equipment – all GE rooms · EMR – Meditech and MacLab Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · RN, BLS, ACLS · Must be competent in Cath Lab procedures Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Scrubbing, recordering · Impella List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Cardiac Cath, PTCA, stents, structural heart Best personality Fit: · Team player, close knit team, critical thinker, patient care focus, fast paced · On-call is frequent, must be flexible and adapt to needs of Unit Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. · Scrub Color - Surgical scrubs, Unit will provide Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc. · Huddle calls daily, development of relationships with Director, staff and patients paramount · Gold seal of approval, well run department, excellent Director

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
