13-week assignment for
an open ICU. The unit is a medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CVICU and neuro
ICU. In the event the helicopter cannot fly, we will care
for pediatric patients in the unit. The unit is consists of two
sections containing a 14-bed unit and a 12-bed unit. Patient’s placement
is determined based on bed availability not by reason for admittance. Staffing ratio in ICU is 1:2 with the occasional 1:3 for ICU patients. Low census may result in floating to CVCU, which is a 1:4 staffing, or to ED to care for hold patients with the same patient ratios.RNs wear navy blue scrubs.
Submission Requirements
At least 1+ years of experience - RequiredTraveler will work CVICU, ICU, CCU, & MSICU (Med/Surg) - Required - Please ensure your traveler agrees to a full float positionRecent traveler experience - highly preferred Profile Requirements:Work HistorySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two yearsLicensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA, NIH, ACLS - AHA, & PALS - AHA, PALS preferred, not required, added bonus if included)Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate)

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
