General Comments: Unit Profile Hospital: Chippenham Medical Center Location: Address:7101 Jahnke Road Richmond VA Unit Name: LDRP Building: Cost Center: 70707 General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR · Patient Ratios : 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs · Type of equipment : Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring · Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN · Scheduling requirements: Every 3 rd weekend · Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP · Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Burn Certified/ Trauma Certified Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby Must have : Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds Certifications Required: Fetal Monitor Certification Dress Code : (Required uniform) · Navy Uniforms Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. · Schedule Guideline- see attached Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards.. · Unit Based Council, Daisy Award Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. · The unit is a small close knit family oriented unit. Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
