Position Description: Unit Profile The purpose of a unit profile is to provide an exceptional screenshot of the unit. Profiles should include unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile. Hospital: Mission Location: Asheville, NC Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Unit Name : CV PreOp Building: E – The Heart Tower Cost Center: 705 General Information Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 4 Patient Ratios : 1:1 Unit staffing description- RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVOR Type of equipment : GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u/s Documentation system : Cerner Scheduling requirements: M-F 0 On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/week Floating policy: Within scope of practice and experience Patient Experience requirements: Critical Care experience a must, PreOp experience a plus Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS and ACLS H iring profile Requested Skill Set: BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team Must have : good critical thinking skills Advanced skills needed: ACLS Procedures performed on unit : large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement. Transport patient to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS Dress Code : (Required uniform) provided Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines . Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as , links to videos that feature the department, outstanding dep artment/team awards . . Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
