General Comments: Hospital: Mission Hospital Location: Asheville, NC Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Unit Name: PACU Building: K Tower Cost Center: 704 General Information Unit Specifics: · Scrub Color(s) : Surgical green or navy · Number of Beds : 40 · Patient Ratios : 1:2 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : HUC available 7:30-4; 4 PCTs scheduled each day and assigned to specific pods. Can draw labs, do catheterizations, and transport patients · Type of equipment : standard PACU equipment · Documentation system: Cerner · Scheduling requirements: 6 week schedules at a time; 3 call shifts required within the 6 weeks · Floating policy: Float within peri-anesthesia (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II) · Patient Experience requirements: Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Trauma experience, pediatric experience Must have : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale experience Advanced skills needed: ventilator monitoring Procedures performed on unit: Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS Dress Code : (Required uniform) · Surgical green or navy scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. · Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards.. · Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. ·
