Other:_________________________ DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: A thirty four bed unit providing modified total patient care to general medical / surgical patients and surgical oncology, including young adult through geriatric age categories utilizing age appropriate considerations. The unit is capable of maintaining twenty-four hour cardiac telemetry monitoring. POPULATION(S) SERVED: ? Newborn 0 – 1 month of age ? Infant 1 month to 2 years of age ? Child 2 to 12 years of age ? STAFFING GRID: The nurse manager and director are responsible for assuring appropriate staffing, working in conjunction with the House Supervisor and Charge Nurses. In the absence of the Director, the manager, unit supervisor or CN of the unit may make decisions regarding unit staffing.
