JOB DUTIES:
To provide direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families utilizing the nursing processes of comprehensive patient assessment, development and implementation of nursing care plans and patient education, and on-going evaluation. The care delivered will be based on theoretical principles and scientific knowledge and within the scope of the California Nurse Practice Act and the PAMF policy Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Independently utilizes the nursing process to provide direct and indirect patient care services within the RN Scope
of practice as outlined in the PAMF policy Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care.
Utilizes established standardized procedures and/or protocols when treatments are considered to overlap with the MD
scope of practice
-Performs triage as necessary to determine level of needed services
-Administers medication sand therapeutic agents to implement a treatment , disease prevention or rehabilitation
regimen as ordered by a physician or mid-level provider. Performs skin tests, immunizations and phlebotomy as
needed.
-Integrates the education of patient , family members and support system into the plan and delivery of care and coordinates education services as needed
-Acts as the patient’s advocate by giving the patient the opportunity to make informed decisions about health care
before it is provided
-Documents nurse-patient encounters and information in the electronic medical record(EMR) as appropriate
-Provides services as needed to ensure efficient and effective clinical operations
-Participates in improving the quality of patient care by identifying areas for improvement with the organization
and /or department. Works as a team member on an interdisciplinary team and as a leader in the clinical setting
when
appropriate
-Adheres to the Patients First customer services guidelines in all contacts with patients, staff and physicians
-Provides department orientation to new staff, as needed or assigned by supervisor

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
