Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Data Collection : Unit Information: Location: Las Palmas Medical Center Building: B Floor: 3rd Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 67526 Discipline: Nursing Quantity: 2 Target Start Date: 05/26/2024 Shift: 7P-7A Call Requirements: No Weekends: Yes General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds - 35 · Number of Staff – 51 · Type of staff: o Day Shift – varies; we staff by acuity o Night Shift – varies; we staff by acuity · Patient Ratios – 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 & 4:1 · Type of equipment – GE Giraffe Omnibeds, Hospira IV pumps, Medfusion feeding and medication pumps. · EMR – Meditech and Centricity Perinatal (CPN) · Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – No Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · NRP · Management of feeding pumps, IV pumps, med titration, med administration, ventilator management, · Time management with 4 patient assignments Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Experienced with Infant Driven Feedings and working with therapy service line · STABLE course List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Physical assessment, VS, diapering, bottle and tube feedings, breastfeeding assistance, medication administration, IV fluid therapy management including TPN, thermoregulation · Collaboration with RT for respiratory support management Best personality Fit: · Open to feedback and critique, punctual, and team player. · Non-judgemental, compassionate and empathetic in working with parents Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. · Scrub Color - Galaxy Blue or Royal Blue · Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. · Available electronically on the unit. Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
