Position Description: Unit Information: OB LDRP unit Location: Methodist Hospital Hill Country Address:1020 South Highway 16 Fredericksburg TX 78624 Floor:2nd Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds -8 · Number of Staff – 19 · Type of staff: o Day Shift – 3-3.5 RN, 1- scrub tech / unit clerk, 1-Director o Night Shift – 3-3.5 RN · Patient Ratios – Labor 1-1, Postpartum 3couplets -1RN, Nursery BABY 1-1 · Type of equipment – Electronic Fetal monitors, IV pumps, Panda Warmers · EMR – Meditech and CPN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Registered Nurse with Labor and Delivery experience, Newborn experience including proficient NRP Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · At least three years labor and delivery experience · A least one year of receiving newborns and at least weekly NRP use Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Post-partum / Couplet care · Level 1/ Level 2 nursery care List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Labor with Vaginal or Cesarean Deliveries · Scheduled Cesarean Deliveries · Cervical ripening · Couplet Care · Circumcisions Best personality Fit: · Friendly and Kind but a hard worker REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · ACLS · NRP · Fetal Monitoring Floating Area(s): · Medical Surgical unit as a tasker Dress Code : · Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. · Weekends and On call(if any) · Every other weekend required

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
