Summary: This individual fills the role of surgical technologist II in the Operating Room. They understand and demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures. Assure all supplies and equipment are available for the procedure and in working condition. Confirm and/or assemble sterile instruments for use correctly. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon. They assist in keeping an accurate account of drugs, sharps, and instruments. They are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the sterile field.

At least 5 years of experience - Required Open Heart Experience - RequiredBLS (AHA) and NBSTSA - RequiredTertiary care center and/or designated level I or II trauma center expereince - RequiredTravel experience - Highly PreferredProfile Requirements:Work HistorySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two yearsLicense/Certifications (NBSTSA & BLS - AHA)Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction)We will want the candidate to have experience in a tertiary
care center and or designated level I or II trauma center. I think we would
consider level III but would have to ask the candidate some additional
questions about their experience. On Call rate is $9.00 for this position

MidMichigan Medical Center – Gratiot, a 96 licensed-bed hospital located in Alma, has provided care for Gratiot County and surrounding areas since 1955. More than 130 physicians and mid-level practitioners serve on the active medical staff in 21 different medical specialties. MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot also provides an urgent-care clinic and 24-hour emergency department. There are more than 621 employees and 250 volunteers. The Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and most recently received a B in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group for the Spring 2018 Hospital Safety Score.Dress Code : Hospital Provided Scrubs **This client has a rebate of 2% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates. Please see section 14.6.1 of SSP Master Agreement for details.**

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
