Position Description: Data Collection : 07/11/2022 Unit Information: Labor & Delivery/Antepartum Location: Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area Address: 7101 South Padre Island Dr. CC TX 78412 Floor: 2nd Building: Women’s General Information Tell us about the unit (s) : Number of Beds – 19 labor/5 OBED/3 PACU/3 Surgical/8 Antepartum Number of Staff – 55 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, 2 OBED, 3 OR, 2-3 Antepartum, 10 labor Night Shift – 1 charge, 2 OBED, 2-3 Antepartum, 10 labor Patient Ratios – 2:1 labors , 3:1 OBED, 4:1 Antepartum, 1:1 OR Type of equipment - EMR – CPN and Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. OBED Circulate C-Sections Ability to manage high risk Antepartums Labor experience Manage COVID patients in labor/C-Section/Antepartum/OBED Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Advanced FM List typical procedures performed on unit(s): C-Sections Cerclage BTL D&C for PPH only Best personality Fit: Great team work and adapts to fast pace environments REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Int. FM ACLS BLS NRP Floating Area ( s ) : Low risk Antepartum unit Dress Code : Scrub Color /Attire - Royal blue scrubs. No t-shirts Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines . Weekends and On call( if any) Possibly four weekend shifts a month Mandatory 2 weekend shifts a month No on-call
