Department: Med Surg | Tele
Radius Rule: 100 miles
Start dates are not flexible.
SUBMISSION PROFILE REQUIREMENTS - Must be in the profile or cannot move forward with submittal.
• Start Date – Must match the next available start date, include in attached profile/resume
• EPIC experience required. Ensure it is accurate (there have been inconsistencies on the resume versus the cover page)
> EMR listed on each work assignment.
• Time Off- Ensure dates make sense for the required start date and are 5 days or less.
> Include within the attached profile/resume. All RTO needs to be in at time of submission.
• Resume- Ensure resume information is accurate (there’s been an increase in inaccurate information sent).
> MUST INCLUDE: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level (if applicable) for each hospital.
> Explain any employment gaps upon submission and include in attached profile/resume.
• Certifications- Make sure certs are accurate and up to date.
• License- Active and in hand - AZ or Compact- Ensure it's accurate
NURSE PATIENT RATIOS: DAYS | 1:5-6 NIGHTS | 1:6
• # of Beds: 90- double occupancy beds.
• Required certifications: BLS. Preferred: ACLS.
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Mostly medical- Pneumonia, COPD, Radiation pts, AKI, occasional lap chole, appy, etc.
• Experience: 2 years as RN, 1 year specialty.
• Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Heparin & lasix gtt-non titrated.
• Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift?: Charge- sometimes free but can take assignment if needed.
• Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: PCA. 8-12 per person.
• RT Equipment: Bipap, stable trach.
• Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit?: Tele on this unit, Travelers don't need to read tele, there is a dedicated monitor tech.
• Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45-7:15am/pm.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other.
• Holiday Requirement: Typically 2/3 holidays.
• Is there Call or a Standby requirement: Low Census On Call.
• Floating Requirements: MedSurg, stable low acuity in ICU, RDU and Foothills clinic RDU
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One NEO, one clinical ed/EPIC, one day floor.

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
