Position Description: SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - PICU (645) - Presbyterian MC - 7P-7A Unit Information: PICU 64516 Location: RMHC at PSL Address: 2001 N. High St Denver, CO 80205 Floor: 3RD Building: D General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 20 Number of Staff – 51 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 free charge, 9 bedside RN, 1PCT Night Shift -1 free charge, 9 bedside RN Patient Ratios – 1:2; 1:1 Type of equipment - Philip monitor, alaris and medfusion IV pumps EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV) Central line maintenance and care Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Post op cardiac experience Venous puncture List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Conscious sedations CT placement Best personality Fit: Flexible Helpful, humble Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
