Any candidate going to Northwest must be fully vaccinated - declinations are not accepted.  Unit Information:    NICU level III Location: HCA Houston Healthcare- Northwest Address: 710 Cypress Creek Pkwy Floor: 2 nd  floor Building: Women’s Atrium   General Information Tell us about the unit(s): ·           Number of Beds - 24 ·           Number of Staff – 38 ·           Type of staff: o      Day Shift – 1 Charge, 4-6 RNs, 1 PCA, 1 Milk Tech o      Night Shift - 1 Charge, 4-6 RN ·           Patient Ratios – level 3 2:1 (sometimes 3:1), level 2 4:1 ·           Type of equipment – ventilator, IV pumps, CPAP, Oscillator, Phototherapy lights/blankets ·           EMR – Meditech/ GE Centriciy (CPN) Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:     Must have :    candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ·             Level III NICU experience ·             Preferred or nice to have :    candidates with these skills will be considered first. ·             Level III NICU Experience ·             Autonomy in practice List typical procedures performed on unit(s):    ·              Lumbar punctures, chest tubes, intubation, IV starts, Arterial stick, UAC/UVC placement and maintenance, PAL maintenance ·             Best personality Fit: ·             Teamwork, helpful, flexible REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ·           NRP/ BLS Floating Area(s): ·           N/A Dress Code : ·           Scrub Color/Attire -    royal Blue scrubs   Unit Guidelines/Policies :  Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. ·               Weekends and On call(if any) ·           Weekends required (4-5 weekend shifts a month)

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
