Position / Specialty: ICU RN

Ratios: 1:2 (ICU typically has a mix of ICU, Sub-acute and floor status patients. SAC ratios 1:4)

Years of experience REQ: 1

First-timers accepted: Yes

Weekend REQ: Yes, Every other; Minimum of 13

Certs REQ: BLS & ACLS required; NIH, TNCC preferred

Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, occasional floating to other inpatient units. Floating is done in a rotation

Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) Not guaranteed

Locals accepted: No locals within 75 mile radius

Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No

RTO Restrictions: greater than 7 days needs approval

Chest tube insertion, Intubations, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, CRRT, Arterial Lines, Central Lines, Vas Cath, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Assist with management of BiPAP/CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac

SAC ratios 1:4; Floor ratios 1:5; Sepsis/Septic Shock, Renal Failure, ARDS, Respiratory Failure, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, ETOH withdrawal, Orthopedic Trauma, Bariatrics,CRRT- NxStage, Edwards FloTrac- EV1000, Phillips Monitors, Hill-Rom ICU beds, Ceiling lifts, Artic Sun, Bear Hugger, Cooling Blanket

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
