Description
THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION – PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
**Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested**
Required:
• CA License
• First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
• Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
• BLS
• PALS
• 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)
*for travelers with PICU exp - 15 bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areas
• Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.
Shifts:
• 3x12 variable or straight night
• (4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights – traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)
• 13 week contracts
Requested Time Off:
Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays
Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
