•BLS through AHA
•Management of telemetry
•Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
•Management of dysrhythmias
•O2 Protocol
•Non-invasive airway management
•Peripheral line care/management
•Isolation precaution/PPE
•Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone).
•Rapid response team activation
•Computerized documentation
•Patient ratios:
o RN 1:4-6
o CNA 1:6-13 on days and1:10-13 on nights
•1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele/PCU
•No first time travelers
Floating to West Valley is part of the floating requirements.
Salem Health Float Pool Team
The Salem Health Float Pool (FP) Team supports all adult inpatient units in the organization.
This includes, but is not limited to, the Emergency Department, Psychiatric Medical Center, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient rehabilitation, vascular access and inpatient adult care units. Float Pool team members are highly flexible and knowledgeable of adult inpatient care. The team also supports our sister hospital, West Valley Hospital, in Dallas, Oregon.

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
