processing, please include perm address at profile upload.  DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONPerform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager. Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies andprocedures is required. May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist. Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems. Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications. Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation. Maintains department competencies as required.Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and CTRequested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.  RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!   NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).  Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and weekend afterChristmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend afterNew Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after8hrs non-billable orientationHoliday and OT Multipliers - 1.25%
