Hospital: Tristar Horizon Medical Center Location: Dickson, TN Address:111 Hwy 70 E Unit Name: Med Surg Building: Cost Center: General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds :26 · Patient Ratios : 1:6 or team nursing 1:9 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Charge nurse, unit secretary on days, 2 PCTs · Type of equipment : Alaris IV pumps · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend · Floating policy: may float to other Medsurg units · Patient Experience requirements: Hourly purposeful rounds, AIDET, mandatory bedside shift report Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: BLS, ACLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : Positive attitude, be able to work well with others, good time management skills, ability to communicate effectively. Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unit: Certifications Required: Dress Code : (Required uniform) · Royal, Galaxy, Pewter Gray, or White scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. · Awards/Recognition: Awarded Unit of Distinction 2015, 2016, 2017. Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
