CHESHIRE MEDICAL CENTER WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT CONSIDER ANY SCHEDULING ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS (Block Scheduling, etc).  If your traveler cannot work the posted schedule please redirect them from this posting.  Thank you!  As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance.  Facility As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance: CPI, AVADE or MOAB.  These are the only certificates that will be considered.  Thank you!  CCLOCAL TRAVELERS (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.  To avoid delays in processing, please provide perm address at profile upload.Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician.BONE DENSITY SCAN/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE IN PROFILEMust be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.Operates film processing equipment.Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room emergency room or at patient's bedside.Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow.Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.Basic computer skills.Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closed toe shoes-sneakers or clogs.
