NICU RN Shift: 3x12 nights, 7p-730a Weekend REQ: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period, holiday rotation Floating REQ: yes, will float within scope to meet facility needs Ratios: 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4-dependent on acuity Years experience REQ: 2 year of NICU experience Experience REQ: Level IV NICU experience, will accept Level III NICU experience on a case by case basis Certs REQ: BLS, NRP License REQ: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License First time travelers accepted-yes Open to accommodating block schedule?-per manager discretion Locals accepted: Yes, on a case by case basis at 10% less than the posted rate Local Radius: 60 miles RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be provided at time of submission. Approval based on unit needs Guaranteed Hours: Traveler may be cancelled/called off 1 shift per 2 week period The 82 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is located in our MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. The Neonatal ICU is the regional referral center for this area, providing care to premature and sick neonates. The Neonatal ICU provides medical and surgical care with most common diagnoses including prematurity, respiratory distress, and neonatal surgical conditions. In addition to respiratory and nutritional support, the NICU provides ECMO/CRRT and surgical support. Pediatric Palliative care is available as needed. The Neonatal ICU is located on the 5th floor of the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Hospital. The Neonatal ICU also supports an infant home monitoring program for infants requiring monitoring upon discharge. All Neonatal ICU beds are monitored beds. Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. **Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors will be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.**

Nicole was very helping and always proficient with reaching out and even going above and beyond when the facility itself was slacking. When the facility canceled all contracts the day before start date she found me another position within the same week. I would recommend her 10x over.
