*AGENCY MUST SUPPLY RADIATION BADGE* About this Position Position/Specialty: CT Tech Shift: Will work 3x12s Friday-Sunday 7p-730a. Holidays if they fall on the scheduled shift. Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Floating between Main, ART, SJCH (Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital) may be required Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year (preferably) or 6 months level 1 trauma First-timers accepted: Yes Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) Experience REQ: Siemens Experience and Trauma 1 Experience Experience REQ: paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, drainage Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Teal Top and Black Bottom Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only. One time payment of $20 for a parking pass. bf JR and TC **Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.**
