Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is working with a hospital in San Francisco, California to hire Infusion RNs. For more than 40 years, we’ve specialized in helping nurses find the assignments that best fit their current needs and long-term career goals. Whether you’re just starting out or a veteran nurse, we’d love to get to know you and talk about the options that are available.

Infusion RN Contract Details:

  • $2,772 – $3,120 per week*
  • AM shift available
  • 13-week contract with possibility to extend
  • Infusions, phlebotomy, starting IVs, and port access
  • Duties: primarily responsible for administering intravenous (IV) medications and fluids to patients, closely monitoring them for any adverse reactions throughout the infusion process, and providing necessary supportive care, including patient education about their treatment and potential side effects; this often involves specialized knowledge of various medications like chemotherapy drugs and a high level of skill in IV access placement and management.
  • Typically, these contracts are Monday – Friday schedule
  • *Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Please speak with a recruiter for details.

Requirements:

  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Certification: Oncology Provider Card (from ONS)
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1 to 2 years of recent Infusion experience
