Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is working with a hospital in Crescent City, California to hire Chemo Trained Infusion RNs. For more than 30 years, we’ve specialized in helping nurses find the assignments that best fit their current needs and long-term career goals. Whether you’re just starting out or a veteran nurse, we’d love to get to know you and talk about the options that are available.
Infusion RN Contract Details:
- $1,960 – $2,146 per week*
- AM shift available
- 13-week contract with possibility to extend
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic
- Infusions, phlebotomy, starting IV’s, and port access
- Duties: primarily responsible for administering intravenous (IV) medications and fluids to patients, closely monitoring them for any adverse reactions throughout the infusion process, and providing necessary supportive care, including patient education about their treatment and potential side effects; this often involves specialized knowledge of various medications like chemotherapy drugs and a high level of skill in IV access placement and management.
- Monday – Friday schedule

Requirements:
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- Certification: Oncology Provider Card (from ONS)
- American Heart Association BLS
- 1 to 2 years of recent Infusion experience
