Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care has been partnering with Nurses for more than 30 years. We’re now seeking Director of Nursing RNs for openings at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Bakersfield, California. Our goal is to help open a range of options for all healthcare professionals working with us so they can choose the assignments that fit their goals and lifestyle best.
Director of Nursing RN Contract Details:
- $3,180 – $3,402 per week*
- AM shift available
- {{ Contract Length }}-week contract with possibility to extend
- DON will be responsible for Directing the nursing program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
- Overseeing hiring, firing, and development of nursing staff
- Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
- Developing a business plan and budget for the nursing unit
- Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
- Ensuring the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:
- Current California RN License
- American Heart Association BLS
- 1 to 2 years of recent relevant experience
