Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a school 1:1 nurse to work in Tacoma, Washington. • $38.50- $41.50 an hour
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• Part-time: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (4 days per week)
• Duration: ASAP – June 20, 2025
  Position Details:
  We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN/LVN to provide 1:1 nursing care for a preschool student. This role includes riding the bus with the student and providing specialized care during the school day.
  Responsibilities:
• Perform oral suctioning, g-tube flushing, and seizure management.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the assigned student at all times.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to meet the student’s needs.
• This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student’s medical diagnosis and care plan
• The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans, and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
• Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
• Contract is for the current school year
• LPN will be matched to student based on the nurse’s medical acuity experience

Requirements:

• Washington LPN / LVN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Prior school nursing experience is a plus.
• Desirable skills include: G-tube, trach, vent care, diabetic care, and seizure management.
