Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a school nurse to work in Gig Harbor, Washington. • $41.50- $44.50 an hour
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6.5 hours per day (32.5 hours per week)
• Duration: ASAP – June 20, 2025
  Position Details:
  We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN/LVN to provide 1:1 nursing support for a student at a High School (9th-12th grade). This role requires expertise in seizure care and other specialized medical needs.
  Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student.
• Support medical needs, including G-tube care, trach/vent management, diabetic care, and seizure care.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure the student’s health and safety.

• This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student’s medical diagnosis and care plan
• The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans, and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
• Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
• Contract is for the current school year
• LPN will be matched to student based on the nurse’s medical acuity experience

Requirements:

• Washington LPN / LVN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Prior pediatric or school nursing experience is a plus
• Must be skilled in G-tube, trach, vent care, diabetic care, and seizure management.
