Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in oncology to join the Gynecologic Oncology team at Quick Med Staffing. This is a travel position, ideal for a compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must meet the specified requirements, and local applicants within a 50-mile radius will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with colposcopies, new patient evaluations, preoperative procedures, and other clinical tasks.
- Document patient histories and other relevant information accurately in Cerner.
- Provide support to patients through calls and ensure their concerns are addressed empathetically.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Travel one day per week to the Alpharetta location as part of the assignment.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proficiency in using electronic health records such as Cerner is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-demand setting.
