Summary:
This position is responsible for performing radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images in the radiology department, as well as in the emergency room and surgery suite using portable techniques. Provides procedural-related patient care and education. Maintains records and documentation for procedures. Identifies and supports patient care needs, including language barriers. Treats patients and families with dignity and respect. Ensures confidentiality of patient records. Interacts professionally with patients and families and provides explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary.
Must be able to work independently and be proficient. Position is subject to sharing in the rotating on-call weeknights and weekend schedule.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Graduation from a minimum of 2-year Rad Tech program or equivalent required. State of Kansas certification. Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. One year of radiologic/CT experience preferred.

Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field. - Required
AART - Required
COVID Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption- Required
Can start with Kanas license pending. Must provide proof of license application prior once position offered.
