Cath Lab RN, Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath 

$25,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Position Overview:
GW Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our specialized team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional cardiac procedures. This role involves working closely with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
  • Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Administer medications, including sedatives and anticoagulants, as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile environments and equipment.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
