The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:  · Graduate of approved respiratory therapy program prior to obtaining license or grandfathered in prior to licensure · Basic computer knowledge including, word and excel, and computerized medical record documentation · Mechanical and non-invasive ventilation knowledge · Minimum of three years’ acute care hospital experience with one year minimum critical care experience  · Has worked in a regular acute care hospital setting within the last 3 years.  · RRT or CRT Florida State License. · Maintains continuing education to meet regulatory requirements for licensure.  · BLS, NRP. If does not have NRP must be obtained within six months of hire.
