What is Integrated Behavioral Health?
Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) is a strategy to achieve St. Luke’s mission and vision to improve the health of our communities throughpatient-centered care. Behavioral health andmedical providers work together to provide whole person care including addressing mental health, substance use, health behaviors, life stressors, and crises. Utilizing mental health professionals within medical settings, and as an embedded member of that team, improves access and helps patients get the complete care that they need. Integrated therapists at St. Luke’s utilize Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) - which is an empirically supported approach for evaluating and improving the quality and effectiveness of behavioral health services.
