Description
The Director of Telehealth is a critical leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight for multiple departments in Telehealth and Hospital at Home. This individual will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, foster staff engagement, and drive continuous improvement. Accountable for achieving staff satisfaction, physician satisfaction, patient satisfaction, productivity, staff evaluations and quality performance metrics for assigned operating units.
This role works within the St. Luke's Virtual Care Center. St. Luke's Virtual Care Center is in the heart of downtown Boise, surrounded by skiable mountains and raftable rivers. St. Luke's Virtual Care Center exists to optimize acute care outcomes through collaboration and the use of technology. The team-based model of care enables patients in our hospitals and within their homes to have access to specialty resources, when and where they are needed.

What you can expect from this role
- Develop operational plan in collaboration with each hospital at home and telehealth manager, for goals, measures and targets in alignment with the overall goals of the organization
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to promote the delivery of safe, effective and quality patient care and ensure standards of best practice in nursing are followed when implementing telehealth solutions
- Participate in establishing and maintaining communication between ancillary departments and physicians, nursing personnel, and other health care professions both internal and external to the organization
- Represent the hospital at home and telehealth services on clinical operational and strategic committees
- Initiate and foster continuous improvement within departments
- Identify and resolve patient/customer satisfaction issues and complaints
- Full-time (1.0 FTE), days, M-F
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors' of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 7 years of relevant experience; managerial experience in acute care nursing highly preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
