Our St. Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are MAGNET-certified, dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke’s Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.
What you can expect from this role
The Clinical Oncology RN is responsible for prioritizing walk-in and telephone triage encounters to address presenting symptoms with focused assessments, management, patient teaching, and coordination of patient care needs, in consultation with providers, key team members, and outside health associates, i.e., insurance, pharmacies, etc. who are involved with the patient's plan of care. This position will cross-train in one other area within the clinic for coverage purposes.

- 8-hour shift, variable days (M-F)
- No weekends, nights or St. Luke’s recognized holidays
Minimum qualifications for this role
- Education: Nursing Degree
- Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute
- Preferred: Oncology or clinic experience and RN license within the state of Nevada or willing to obtain once hired
